What to do if you have an emergency or urgent request

We would like to remind you that outside of our neonatal unit ward cover, we are not an emergency care provider. 

In an emergency please call 000 or present to your local emergency department if you have serious concerns about your child's health.

If your child is ill please contact your GP for an appointment or go online to speak to the CAVUCS virtual emergency department between 9 am and 9 pm (they have a medical and mental health team).

Other useful contacts are Healthdirect and the Australian Breastfeeding Association.

If you have an urgent appointment request please email us at admin@paediatricsontynte.com.au, we will endavour to get back to you within 2 business days.

Please remember that if your request is related to a new non-GP referred issue you may not be entitled to a Medicare rebate.
